Terms of use

Effective from 23 October 2026

1. General

These terms apply to the Kopā app provided by SIA Digiro (reg. no. 40203709265, Mednieku iela 18, Rūjiena, Valmieras novads, LV-4240). By creating an account, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you download the app from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If you download it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

2. Who can use Kopā

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• One person, one account.
• Your profile information must be true and your photos must be of you.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure.

3. What is not allowed

We have zero tolerance for offensive content and behaviour. You may not:

• post nudity, sexual, violent or hateful content;
• harass, threaten, insult or discriminate against other users;
• impersonate someone else or use a fake profile;
• use the app for advertising, selling, fraud or asking for money;
• share other people’s personal data without their consent;
• post any content that sexualises or endangers children (see Child safety standards);
• try to get around a block or create a new account after yours has been closed.

4. Reporting, blocking and moderation

You can report or block any user directly in the app (on their profile or the date screen, via the ⋯ menu) or by emailing support@digiro.lv. We review reports within 24 hours. When the rules are broken, we remove the content and warn, suspend or permanently close the account of the person responsible. We check profiles and photos both automatically and manually.

5. Meeting in person

Kopā helps you arrange a meeting, but you are responsible for your own safety in person. We recommend that you:

• meet only at the event, in a public place;
• tell a friend where you are going and who you are meeting;
• make your own way to the event and back home;
• report any suspicious or inappropriate behaviour to us straight away.

We do not run background checks on users and are not responsible for how users behave in person.

6. Your content

The content you add to your profile (photos, bio) belongs to you. You give us a non-exclusive right to show it to other users in the app while your account is active. You can edit or delete your content at any time.

7. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or close an account if these terms are broken.

8. Limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available or that every date will happen. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses.

9. Changes and governing law

If these terms change significantly, we will let you know in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. We will first try to resolve any dispute through discussion.
