This page explains how to delete your account in the Kopā app (developer: SIA Digiro) and what happens to your data.

Option 1: in the app

1. Open the Kopā app and go to “Profile”.
2. Tap “Settings” → “Delete account”.
3. Confirm the deletion.

Your profile disappears for other users straight away.

Option 2: without the app

If you no longer have the app installed or can’t sign in, email support@digiro.lv with the subject “Delete account”.

• Write from the email address you use to sign in to the app (your Apple or Google account).
• If you used Apple’s “Hide My Email”, include your profile name and roughly when you signed up.

We will confirm your request within 2 business days and delete your account. You don’t need to download the app again.

What we delete

• account data (name, email, account ID);
• your profile (photos, date of birth, interests, bio, settings);
• events, invitations, dates and date statuses;
• push notification tokens and device data.

We also ask our service providers to delete this data.

What we keep, and for how long

• Reports about rule-breaking and moderation decisions - up to 12 months, to prevent repeat abuse and fraud.
• Technical logs - up to 90 days.
• Data we must keep by law (for example, at the request of law enforcement) - as long as the law requires.

How long it takes

We permanently delete all other data within 30 days of your request. A deleted account cannot be restored.

Deleting only some data

If you want to keep your account but delete some data (for example, a photo), you can do it in the app under “Edit profile” or email us at support@digiro.lv.
